When I last minute date comes through to your inbox, it can be very exciting when it's both a day you have free and sounds bloody awesome!
This happened with Jodie & Dean , planning their day in about 6 weeks, and it was pretty awesome.
The family own gorgeous countryside and woodland land, so it seemed the perfect place to hold a wonderful Wedding.
The ceremony was held in a woodland, deep in the heart of gorgeous trees, with leaves on the floor and the sky above. Everything was wonderfully homemade, with seats made out of bee houses, the bouquets foraged from the areas around an arch that the Groom made. This went further into the venue, where a truly working barn was converted into the most gorgeous area for food and dancing!
The Bride came out of a trailer, with all her Bridesmaids whilst her Mother walked her down the isle. There was such a sense of family and love throughout the whole day, with kids running around everywhere and so many congratulations and love being passed around. The Brides best friend and Bridesmaid made the cake, and a the catering was done by local friends that they meet at farmers markets.
Of course the best part of the Wedding, for me, was when their little fur baby popped along for some photos. I love when dogs can be involved in Weddings, and this worked so well for some photos before he headed back with his doggy minder so the humans could enjoy the rest of the evening.
Thanks so much for letting me capture your gorgeous day, Jodie & Dean!
