Small Oxford Ceremony Wedding

Oh small Weddings - how I love you! I’m always so excited when I get booked for smaller and more intimate Weddings, and this Oxford City Wedding was no different.

Guido & Garretts day was so lovely to capture, and sometimes the smaller weddings some how feel a little more special.
Having had a party celebration the Weekend before, the pair booked their official ceremony for the next Weekend, in the gorgeous registry office in Oxford City.

With a harpist playing as they walked in together, with their flower girl, to a room full of very close and important people in their lives.
The ceremony was short and sweet, which you do find with most registry office Weddings, but it was full of so much joy and just seeing the boys face as they were saying the words to get Married seemed so wonderfully special.

The Oxford Registry office is a great backdrop, of the building itself, for the a few small family photos but in this gorgeous City there are a fair few places in the city and more green areas that would be perfect for larger group shots too.

After the family photos Garrett, Guido and I headed off together and take photos are Oxford. I always adore city style elopement Wedding photos, they’re such a mix of fun and laid back, really cool [especially in a stunning City like Oxford] and just extra special.
We visited some gorgeous places along the way, and had a good hour of taking photos and walking to the next place. An hour is always more than enough for any couple portraits on your Wedding Day, however for elopement city weddings I always think a little more is great. Walking around and getting to different spots and places takes a little longer and thinking about the extra people around is also something to factor into time as well.

Garrett and Guido went off to have a little lunch with their close friends & family, and it was really the perfect 2 hours of coverage for their Oxford City Wedding
