LGBTQ+ Brighton Wedding

As a Queer owned Wedding photographer, there’s a few venues and types of Weddings that are truly on my bucket list. I’m a laid back photographer that wants to capture the love of people, in a way that showcases the day they wanted and created. When Phoebe & Claire got in touch about their Brighton Townhall Wedding I knew it was one I’d love…. and it did not disappoint.

Brighton Townhall is such a lovely registry venue in the heart of the City, with the Lanes behind you and the beach in front, it’s literally a great place to head to a reception venue from there or head around the City for couples portraits.

I loved the whole feel of Phoebe & Claire’s day, with City shorter dresses, fun footwear, Mums making wedding flowers & no sit down meal. I am forever for couples doing their Wedding their way, and this truly did that so well.

After the Townhall Wedding they headed to the beach for some couples photos, travelling in style in a friends gorgeous Morris Minor [my dream vintage car!] The sun was super bright that day so we just did a few beach photos before taking a slow walk back to the venue [The Southern Belle] to meet their friends & family for celebrations.

There was some gorgeous speeches, from friends & family, lots of drinking and chatting and just a gorgeous laidback vibe. The guests in the pub spilled out onto the sunny Brighton roads, with so much chatter and loving laughs. Food was eaten and before the partying started we managed to head back down to the beach for some Golden Hour photos, which I will always recommend if it’s a lovely evening as you’re usually less worried or stressed at this point and it can really add to your whole gallery.
