LGBTQ+ Wedding Workshop

Coming out later in life really opened my eyes to how Heteronormative the Wedding industry is, and since then I have really pushed to try and make a difference in what we do and what we see. This started the “Love For All” Wedding Workshops, and since then we’ve gone from strength to strength to share and do more with them.

Putting money back into your business is always so important, investing in education, shoots and workshops. I’ve attended amazing workshops as well as other online courses and help, it propels you forward and takes you to the next step. Something I think we’re all looking for.
With so many Wedding workshops and content days around, I was worried with how this would fit in, not being the most well known photographer and honestly not a topic or community that people pay attention too. I’m glad we’re seeing more LGBTQ+ couple models within workshops, however I hadn’t seen any with the learning aspect involved, and for me in the Queer community, this was really important.

Love for All is a mix of gorgeous content creation workshop and talks and seminars on how to be a better ally as well as a better business person within the Wedding industry for the LGBTQ+ community.
So often we see traditions, gendered language and images that are all aimed at straight cis people, but gay people get married too, and they want to see representation and know that you as a supplier are a safe person to go to.

We’re currently trying to work on two Workshops a year, and I have also just started the “mini styled shoots” through the year too. These are smaller and quicker, with just one couple and more elopement based. However they’re more affordable and with less time needed, hopefully we’re able to help and get to as many photographers and videographers as possible with these different options.
